I wonder how much anti-static bags actually matter for cards that are just lying there instead of being shipped/handled/etc. At least it'll prevent components from catching on one another.

If it's pure DOS, RAM doesn't really matter (even 16MB should be enough) and unless you want to play DOS Glide games you could just stick with a compatible card like an S3. In fact the DOS compatibility of my Voodoo 3 disappointed me. Sound card really depends on if e.g. you want to use a wave table …

Nicely done! I had that same monitor back in the day! An older USB mouse with a passive PS2->USB converter should work too. Edit: maybe your modern mouse even works with one, you never know.

It looks like you're running the games from c:\windows, are you? You should change to the games' directory first and run them from there. They're probably looking in the currently active directory (as opposed to the directory of their .exe file) for their resources.

I remember playing this on my P166 with a Voodoo 2 and I don't remember performance being especially bad (Unreal as unplayable) however at the time I was probably used to bad performance and I always used cheats so at least the slow fire fights weren't annoying.
