Thank you for the additional suggestions. I tried both 5V EDO DIMM ram as well as 3.3V SD-RAM. Both work the same (still 25% speed). I am able to get through all benchmarks (doom, quake, etc), just at slow speeds. It is consistently at around 25%. So basically I have a nice 486 DX 33 here. At this …

This is 256KB using 3 TAGs with 22pins. W22B65AK-20. Can't find the datasheet anywhere so they may/may not be 64KBx4, and whether or not they have comparator. From an ECS SL486VE board. I maximized all bios ram settings and was able to achieve 312-150-210. I was getting 3150/7900 on 3dmark99 but had some stability issues with the ram tweaked so I lowered the cpu to 577mhz at 105 fsb and now get a stable 3000/7500. I will retest when the 128mb ram comes in. IMG_2246.jpegIMG_2207. …

When you say 2800 does not work - what you mean exactly ? No lights at all, or mem counter completes but strem hangs afterwards ? With 16MB or 32MB module(s) it counts very quickly to 640k.
