I wouldn't try to run a split voltage CPU like a PMMX in this board, looks like a single voltage setup. Should probably stick to non-MMX Pentiums from 90-200MHz (or Winchips) unless you have an MMX Overdrive handy.

From looking at pictures of a bunch of graphics cards, the main ones I came up with are SGRAM versions of Matrox Productiva G100 and Millennium G200. The G100 has 2 memory chips, the G200 has 4 memory chips (and they look to usually be the next speed grade up from the original Banshee's parts)

What are the part numbers of the memory chips on your Banshee and on the potential donor boards? Same package is a good start but there are some other important parameters that need to be matched up as well

An archive of the product page from QDI's website (https://web.archive.org/web/19991012061509/ww … 30tx1b_plus.htm) shows as a 'feature': "Support Power LED dimmed when Soft-off" so I think this is normal behavior and I don't see anything in the manual about changing it.

As far as video cards go, I'd probably go for something like a GF2 GTS or GF3, or Radeon 7500 or 8500. Something in that ballpark. Not sure about sound cards, I'm lazy with those and usually just use an SB Live.
