Edit: took my most basic slotket and it's working on P3B-F! Takes 1,6GHz @1,55V so double overclock :D Cool. :-) So there's a certain pickiness regarding slotkets at play. Good to know. My P3B-F wont boot with VIA C3 Nehemiah 800MHz. Maybe it's just that only older C3 cores work with 440BX.

Got my System 40 up and running months ago with 512MB CF card. But now, the BIOS is corrupted and I don't remember the CHS settings for the card. And I don't remember how to get in to BIOS when it's not stopping on some error. Great.

I have built many retro systems last years and still I think KT7A+Athlon XP-M is the best. Fast enough for newer games and slow enough for older. My Asus P3B-F+Tualatin 1.4GHz comes close but hard to slow down if needed. But Slot1 helps a lot, takes 1min to swap CPU to say P2 Klamath with unlocked …
