I found one of these boards at work and I'd like to use it with my 500MHz AMD K6-2. However, I don't know whether the board will support a CPU that fast, as the CPUCLK jumpers on the PCB only go up to 75mhz and the RATIO jumpers only go up to 3.0x. Can this board support my CPU?

Are there any quiet AT PSUs?

I'm going through a similar conundrum: Trying to speed up a vintage system already using SD and CF-based storage. My solution is to install a PCI SATA II controller and use SATA III SSDs. They haven't arrived yet but I'm hoping the solution will work.

I would like to add a minimum of 4GB of memory to my DOS PC for a RAM disk, but the motherboard only supports 768MB. Is there a way to add more? Perhaps on a PCI card? The Gigabyte i-RAM looks like one way to do it, but they're quite pricey and use a SATA port rather than direct PCI communication.

Does your M577 have a SB link port? You'll need that to get good sound from a PCI card in DOS. Otherwise I advise using an ISA sound card. I use a Sound Blaster 16 with a genuine Yamaha chip in mine.
