It's somewhat better, but it doesn't show L1 Cache, only L2.

Messed around with my Pentium PCs and listened to some classic Adlib tunes on both. CT3910 has much clearer output than ALS100. Also, a K5 PR100 is unbearably slow for Win98SE. I also installed MR-BIOS on my Socket 5 PC. Not too much in general.

Well, it doesn't kill my mouse now. Since all I had to do was disable sensors, you could have said so to save you the trouble. Anyway, here's the report:

It doesn't crash now, but it doesn't detect the CPU. All it says is "AMD Processor". It also kills my serial mouse for some reason, although the rest of the system still works. If I use PS/2, it freezes the whole PC completely.

If I can recommend something outside these two, I've also had good luck with Avance Logic ALS100 (NOT +, just regular ALS100!). Very compatible and it has a 1:1 copy of OPL3. It also has drivers for Windows 3.1 which are very easy to install. You just run setup.exe from within Windows and it …

No, since the Waveblaster (and any other Wavetable add-on board) is basically an external MIDI module that can sit on your card instead of taking space on your desk. It doesn't give you as much control as a full AWE card.

It sounds like conflicting IRQs or something. Have you checked Device Manager?

NUSB works just fine with USB 1.0 as well. Just tried it on another 430TX board (QDI P5I430TX Titanium IB+). The other board I had was a DFI 586ITBD Rev.A1.

Just tried it again in my Socket 5 PC. It's a success! Haven't tried to see if it still suffers from K5 crash yet, but I'll try soon. Edited that out because it was unnecessary here. Sorry.
