EAX and A3D emuation on intrgrated audio chips

Recently I Started getting into retro games, like Far Cry, GTA Vice City, FEAR, Half-Life, etc. These games have options for enabling EAX or A3D on HL. But I cannot run EAX or A3D on my machine because of DSound3D incompatibility. So I want to experience A3D or EAX on my PC. Is there a way to do it? …

The game installer won't even install on Windows 2000 and a message popped out "This game only works on Windows 95 and 98." The system ACT database has the Win95VersionLie fix for the NFS4 installer. Tested with WinXpSp3 and ACT 5.5. The game itself needs CorrectFilePaths and …

I don't know which VM you had tried. I was able to run NFS2:SE, NFS3:Hot Pursuit and NFS5:PU flawlessly on 3Dfx Glide mode on QEMU running Win98/2K/XP guest OS on Linux or Windows 10 host. Currently there are no better ways to run the NFS games on Windows 10 than using the ports. They are decent, not perfect by any means but they work. I can't see any errors in the log related to dgVoodoo. There isn't any problem with dgVoodoo. The game crashes because of some incompatibility of d3da.dll. the game worked fine on a vm but i can't play it because it bsods. Which Windows version are you installing it in? if it works on winXP, why not use it there? I upgraded my OS. I no longer have the hardware supported by WinXP.
