At this point, I would take a generic or even NO enclosure in order to get the thing up and running and in our hands, with the option to then put it in a customised enclosure when the final design has been completed. The case could be an upgrade to the device. I look forward to seeing this project …

I have seen a PI MT32 project that accepts DIN mini in, and uses the bootable slim OS Raspberry PI image (MUNT baked in!), with a HAT for user interface and to allow selection of Soundfont.
