Hello. I would like to install FreeDOS on my 15gb hard drive alongside my existing Win98SE installation, possibly partitioning off some of the free space. I don’t know how to do that. If that’s not possible, then I can connect a second 2gb hard drive and install it on there. I don’t know how to do …

Yes, but not installed. I tried to install it once, but the process went haywire, and I gave up. It’s an Ensoniq ES1370.

Thanks! Also, I installed the drivers from a folder on the desktop, and it tells me to restart my computer. When this happens, Windows tells me it found new hardware, and it looks for drivers, but doesn’t find them.

Interesting story: My Win98SE computer is put together from 2 different pre-built computers, with other miscellaneous parts put in. The motherboard I am using is from an emachines etower 533ir.

I am using a sound card that was built into the motherboard, the drivers say it’s a “Crystal SoundFusion PCI Audio Accelerator”

Alright, so I’ll tell Win98SE to run it it complete DOS mode. I’ll come back if I can’t get the sound to work. Also, I agree, the memory indicator is very confusing.
