I've got a Dell 433s/x (according to the BIOS) board. When I power up I get "F1 to continue, F2 to go to setup" if there is a change or a problem but otherwise I can't get into the BIOS - hitting F2, ESC etc doesn't work. Anyone have any idea of how you get into setup when there isn't a problem?

Today I fitted my replacement 486 board into the case and got it tested. Dell mounting holes are all in different places to IBM so I had to knock the standoffs out of the case and drill it to move them.

The Dell board came with no RAM - the 4 x 4MB chips were all from my old IBM. The EDO is memory that I just got from eBay. Thanks for the information!

Thanks for the reply. 3 of the 4MB chips are single-sided with 8 chips, one is double with 12 chips (makes unknown). The 16s are single-sided, Texas Instruments TM497FBK32S-60 72-Pin 60n/s EDO. 8 chips per stick.
