Have to agree with gerry. SOF 1 and 2 are great first-person shooters. I like the second one a bit more though. But SOF 1 is also cool. good to meet fellow appreciators of SoF! :) both games have, imo, excellent fps controls / mechanics and made for enjoyable experiences SoF2 is indeed a great game …

Even the cases have original boxes! PC's seem "Kinda new" eg slot 1 with a GF4 Ti, and the P3's with the FX 5200. I have to have a floppy drive in anything under where the BIOS allows a bootable CD. So that is XT, 286, 386, 486, Pentium, etc. the moment a BIOS can boot from USB it's all over for floppy and optical drives well not quite, but it does mean that we don't need the FDD and optical drive if using IDE …

i have played C&C Renegade and whilst it it fun it can get a little uninspiring after a while, somewhat repetitive. gameplay is ok though, and its a worthwhile experience if you don't expect too much from it

sometimes games can be 'tricked' into working on earlier versions of windows, that's fun maybe but the game is also likely to be less stable i'm ok with using the OS as listed in 'requirements' on the basis that it should at least work 😀

XP 32bit supports more than 2 cores, IIRC its 32 logical cores with a max of 2 physical CPUs for XP Pro, XP64 its 64 logical cores and 2 CPUs. So im not sure why you wouldn't run XP on a 6 core CPU, its more than up to the task, that said Win7 is better overall if you want DX10. ah yes, i'm …
