Well, seems you did not answer my questions. How are the drive jumpers set? Is hdd autodetecton available in bios? Which end of ribbon cable is it connected to? I instst on posting photos.

Please post photos of hdd's label and values you entered in bios. What about jumper settings? Does bios support hdd autodetecton? Did you try another hdd controller?

So now you have to determine what is actually faulty. It may be one (or both) of RAM sticks, it may be one (of both) of RAM slots, it also may be dirty contacts on module(s) and in the slot.

On this board you actually have to set up HDDs and FDDs manually in the bios. For HDD it is best to I put CHS data manually even if autodetecton is available. A: and B: FDDs should be set to its correct type as connected to the ribbon cable. There is no setup for CD in bios, it should be configured …

Yes, it does matter. It is better to stick to original capacity, but you may use equal or higher voltage replacement. So it is ok to put 1500 uF Cap designed to work at 10V max or 16V max. Generally I'd recommend to replace damage caps with 'one step up' replacement parts when it comes to voltage. …

Caps on last photo (near PSU connestor) are OBVIOUSLY leaked and needs replacing, which is likely to ceuse that issue. Also, one of the wires on ATX connector is damaged (oragne one, bottom right side on last ohoto)

Desolder/cut the battery ASAP. If you fail to do this corrosion will slowly eat the traces out. Soak the affected area in vinegar, when it stops bubbling rinse with water and let it dry. Check if any traced were damaged and try to run the system.

I don't think your problem was caused by wrong jumper setting. This motherboard does not support DX4s made by AMD, which means BIOS does not recognize its microcodes properly, causing system to halt. As it turned out that your system is working just fine, I'd give it a chance and update bios, …
