The caps diagonally soldered onto the ic's are for extra decoupling, so shouldn't give any problem. All the other mods... no idea.

ideas why one would disable those functions... using fdd on scsi controller, not using ide due to scsi controller... just a guess. Change those two jumpers and report back with the results. I hope that will solve your problem.

If the info is correct, the jumpers on your card are set so the behaviour you observe is to be expected. #1 are you sure it's edo ? and yes, parity, also 486 only needs one module, pentium mostly needs 2 due to memory bus width. #2 1 MegaByte each with parity. #3 8 MegaByte, again doubting it is EDO. Seems more like plain Fast Page mode dram. Is there a way to visually tell FPM from EDO ? My EDO …

TVs tend to do overscan of the picture which causes all sides to be cut off, a little. aren't the analog pins connected to the dvi ones ? ie measuring continuity between the pin header and dvi pads should give easy results. since there's no backside visible i'm assuming that the dvi connector is only lacking the pins, but the pads/holes are available on the pcb under the connector and …
