Re: Retro confessions. What are yours?

in Milliways
I like grim Fandango. The settings, the music and humour made me look past the clunky controls. But generally, the imagined requirement on 3D in everything almost killed of the adventure game genre.. monkey Island 4, I have never replayed it. I have no fond memories of it..

Re: What game are you playing now?

Finished tombraider 1 on my p2@400 MHz with a voodoo2. I loved the first levels, they are very nostalgic. The middle of the game, felt long and was quite repetitive. The later part was better than I remembered it, action filled but also very dark. Those pulsating walls, skinless monsters and the …

Think I played Sacrifice on it and it probably stretched its limits.. Don't think we ever upgraded the CPU, maybe it didn't support it... But I guess it was ok for …

Re: VGA to HDMI - Ultrawide

I made a test with my Deltaco converter and you can send 640x480 resolution in 60hz and also tried 800x600. In the monitor I chose keep aspect ratio and it looked fine. Also in my ATI rage pro (laptop version) I could manually change the aspect ratio of the monitor. Alas it does not work in DOS …

Re: VGA to HDMI - Ultrawide

I think it can depend on the monitor. I have Deltaco VGA to HDMI I could try on my ultra wide benq if it would be of any help. I was a little disappointed in the converter when I first tried it though because it didn't seem to show bios' resolution mode what ever that is and ATM I had no other …
