Welp that didn't help, for whatever reason. I bought a replacement BIOS with a fresh flash on it and put it in and...nothing. Still just powers on with no sign of actual life. I'm confused, what else could I brick on a motherboard that isn't the BIOS chip?

Gah, never mind, didn't help. I left it for awhile and when I came back it had neutralized the BIOS again. It's acting like it's on a capacitor (like it'll keep the settings intact until it's been depowered for awhile then it'll just vanish).
