Do you know of any other windows tools that can make/manage a raw disk image to use with netdrive, or convert it to something 7z can use? I was wanting to avoid linux with this but winimage is clunky to use plus i dont own it, and osfmount somehow nuked my windows efi boot partition, that was fun. …

Tried both Tetris 1 and Tetris II. Tetris 1 works perfectly. But Tetris II crashes with: Runtime error 201 at 000D:0334 immediately when reaching the main menu. This on a Pentium III 1Ghz running on DOS 7.1.

Most likely you have got 20ns chips. 15ns chips usually can do 2-1-1-1 @40MHz ... when you drive 2 banks. Yes, I agree. Double banked cache relaxes the timing. Also increased the level 2 cache from 256kb to 512kb yesterday. Didn't see much of a speed increase from 15ns to 10ns but need to do some more testing. I just received some flashable EEPROMS (faster then I thought it would take). Replacing the EPROM with a 5v EEPROM solved the problem. The "Updating ESCD" was there before the flashing. Hoped that flashing a newer BIOS version would solve it. But as we now know it didn't for obvious reasons. 😜

A UV EPROM is not something the board can update you need an EEPROM? Probably true. But it's a little strange as it is the original BIOS EPROM. Seems funny to me that Biostar sold motherboards which couldn't save ESCD information. :) Its not original, picture with original sticker peeled off …

I didn't get it to work as well on a 286. But I blamed it on the motherboard not having PnP abilities. You can try another cable (40 or 80 pin cable) and play with master/slave/cs settings on the CD ROM. Options are correct but it can also be an IRQ or address conflict. Are you sure they are free?
