I picked a laptop with WinME (not original system) and I'd like to give it a try, but unfortunately the laptop manufacturer doesn't offer WinME drivers. I'm afraid the 98SE drivers may have compatibility issues on WinME so I just decide to stick to 98SE.

T41 is not a good option IMO, I recommend T20, T21, T22, A20(p/m), A21, A22. Those are the last IBM win98 laptops with a Sound Blaster compatible sound chip (Crystal Semiconductor CS4624). So this is the Toshiba Satellite P25-S509 you've talked about in another thread? Glad to hear that FX Go5200 driver finally works. I'm trying to get one if the sound works good too. The sound chip is Realtek ALC202 and Toshiba claims it is SB compatible in Windows' dos mode. Is it tested okay?

Update: Toshiba 2805-S603 is OK. the screen is 100% fit when enabling LCD display stretch. Also it acts like a real CRT, not as Satellite Pro 4300 with stretched bitmap style and text/fonts shape shifted.
