Screenshot problem Perhaps I've been a bit unclear: If there is a difference between the appearance in DOSBox and the captured png file (when opening it in an image viewer, not DFR) this is a DOSBox problem D-Fend Reloaded cannot influence. That's a very nice setup I will consider. It does currently conflict with the frontend though, which I want to use for it's functionality of showing the screenshots and meta data. Well, it could be done that way in the frontend, but I think I'd have to manually set up the capture folders for every …

@Neville I don't think you understand the problem. For various reasons using 8-letter folder names is not an option for many despite knowing it would mean less problems. While DOSBox itself has no problems with shortening the names, any front-end needs to create the exact same short name to directly …

Previously none of the rendering modes worked in fullscreen but now openglnb does scale to fullscreen as it should :) I can now finally use my much more powerful notebook to play the games ;) Unfortunately, I probably have to batch edit …

Hi, I've run into some problems concerning video too. I have two systems, a xp sp3 pc with CRT monitor and a vista (no sp yet) notebook with 1280x800 as native resolution. I run DOSBox from my USB drive using D-Fend reloaded. On both systems I've encountered video problems, quite different ones …

sure, but having DOSBox in a restricted path produces other problems as well, like when you want to use a frontend to edit the conf or anything like that

You're probably using Vista. If so you don't have writing rights for the program files folder. Just move DOSBox to another folder like c:\tools\ and it should work.
