I am by no means an expert. Did you install the .VXD or the WDM? It has to be the .VXD for SB16 emulation. I still prefer the FX1300 visually in DOS games to any other PCI-E card, Radeon or Geforce I've tested. It's very crisp were the other cards look rather blurry. One thing I find odd is that Rloew's Nvsize app is listing this cards CFG PCI Size as 256MiB, the other 3 listings have the correct size.

Can't say for sure, never had serious issues with Q3 timedemos on Nvidia cards. Well, on AGP cards with fully functional GART driver that is. I think the PCI-E lanes are through the Southbridge. Edit: I’m wrong on that sorry. You Just need the Via 4 in 1, or was it Hyperion by then? Anyway I made a CD with all the drivers I needed, I’ll check tonight and see what they were.

I have the 775 Dual Vsta and the PCI-E isn’t full 16x, it’s only 4x. I only use it to pair Core 2 Duo with AGP. It works great in 98 though.

According to https://www.philscomputerlab.com/nvidia-9x-graphics-drivers.html the FX 5700 Ultra isn't supported on 45.xx.
