The original Windows setup works with WineVDM. I get a multiplayer option on the intro screen. Clicking on that button gives three options: Internet (Sierra Waiting Room) Local Area Network or Modem Go to Birthright Web Page Option one and three obviously won't work as the Sierra servers no longer …

TIM3 is a Windows CD with CDA tracks. I am unaware of any floppy with MIDI version. Did you mean TIM2 or the Incredible Toon Machine?

According to Moby Burnout is a DOS game and NIRA is a Win only from '99. It is probably possible to get Burnout working in DOSBox. From '99 NIRA probably won't run in Win3x in DOSBox. I'm not familiar with the game so I am not sure what it might take to get it to run.

Might need to add the label flag. I remember that some versions of DOS installers looking for a certain disk label as a primitive disk check.

This is common with games published by Sierra of the era. Lords II has multiplayer, but only with the Windows interpreter. It is unavailable to the DOS version.

Again, ECE is not supposed to be an everything-including-the-kitchen-sink build. Its intent is to enhance accuracy such as with audio and graphics. More patches tend to increase instability. You could ask one of the more experimental branches such as DOBox-X.

You need to install the game in Win3x. Once it works from the Program Manager then just add it to the Start Group.

I have some memory of when I wrote my Munt installer (when Win7 was new) that duplicate wdmaud.drv entries took up all of the "midi#" spots, leaving no place for mt32emu to be added.

Since you got it working this may be of no use, but someone else may need it. The copy of Scanbin I grabbed from the author's site seems to be corrupted. I found it on https://www.sac.sk/files.php?d=17&l=S and that one works.

Is there a reason that you do not want to use DOSBox? NTVDM is horrible and with no sound emulation. DOSBox is simple and easy to use and is far more compatible than NTVDM, tat is unless you are glutton for punishment as DosFreak said.
