Check out the tool "unlocker". It's great, with one right-click on the file it can tell you what's locking, it can delete locked files, it can close handles, it can close programs and if all that doesn't work it can delete on next boot.

Yeah, I did similar at first. The better method is to not use the import conf function but to copy over the prof files instead. That way you don't get all the mounting commands etc. into the autoexec section but into the sections where they belong. Probably could use a bit more user guidance as I …

More bugs? The "all", "none" and "by genre" buttons in the multiple edit dialogs don't seem to do anything. And may I request resolution and scaling settings in the multiple profiles editor as these are settings I would be likely to change when moving from one PC to another.

I fixed the "make folders relative" problem by renaming the folder from "Emulation" to "emulation" so it's something to do with case sensitivity. I checked the original prof files and in them emulation is written with a lower case e, while the real folder had an upper case e. So probably a special …

Yeah, wasn't really complaining. Just a list of findings, maybe bad thread title. Can't harm to know which aspects may be improvable. wd: can you get past the part where you have to enter your name in CG in VGA mode? Using gulikoza's 0.72 here.

wd: try going further than the entry screen in those games. And you could have concluded that I know that fixed cycles works for Tie Fighter or how would I have known the speed issue is caused by cycles=auto?

OK, now I'm half silly from loads of trial and error. 😀 The problem of the failing IMGMOUNT is that the command gets cut off whenever it's longer than 134 characters.

Slight problem at the moment. I have upgraded my whole system (Opteron 144, YAY) and can't connect my gameport joystick at the moment due to the new mainboard not having a gameport socket. But I'll check the sav as soon as I fix this problem.

You should use gulikoza's build (🆙 🆙) with the direct3d renderer instead of overlay. Fixed this problem for me (and makes the pixels sharper).

Yes, post the savegame plus an exact discription of how to cause the crash. Then I can see if my version really reacts different. If it does then it shouldn't be too difficult to "fix" the problem.

I'm using the original German CD's. I've definately seen that error message before but if I recall correctly I got that before I even got into the game. I think the "fix" was simply to wait for a newer version of DOSBox. So maybe you should try some other builds. Go to http://www.si-gamer.net/ …
