Back in the day I was putting around w/ a 110meg HD in the mid 90s. After DOS6.22, Win3.1 and a few office type apps installed, I had about 90 meg free. I distinctly recall a point when the 'great games' started to pass the 10meg install mark!!! I could only have maybe 4 or so 'big games' installed …

Riddle me this Batman? Why build a 486 when you could 'do it better' with a Pentium I? Any game that is too fast to run on a Pentium (ie Wing Commander) will probably still be to fast on a 486. Bugs, it has 256k. Thrashbarg, I just plugged the aftermarket fan into a molex connector,not on-board fan (is there even one?). It's never complained at me.

I have no idea. I'd assume on the low end of things. Can Everest determine that thru software or bootup? I'd rather not have to re-apply thermal paste to the CPU to look at what's stamped on the die.
