Windows 8 is not currently a problem and won't be for a few more years. The REAL problem will come when Microsoft stops providing security fixes for Windows 7 and most hardware companies stop producing device drivers for it. I was able to reproduce the crash easily (in the very first map of the Atreides campaign), but after having restarted the computer I can no longer make it crash anymore! :confused: The crashes are bit random now, and much less frequent. I have upgraded to Dune Dynasty 1.5.2 and now the game crashes again when I right click on a black zone of the map 🙁 Are you guys having the same problem? I'd really like to use left-click orders, but it seems that the crashing problems still persist.

It HAS to be Windows. Its not about Linux being a better option, its about finding a windows thats best suited for this. So far XP has the best score.
