Same here but with a Spanish keyboard. "\" it is probably located elsewhere. Try typing other keys. On Spanish keyboard is at "ç" key.

Using DosBox 0.58 After issuing the mount a a:\ -t floppy command, i cannot swap floppies. It just works on the first one. If I swap it, I cannot even do a dir command. To use a different floppy, i've got to close DosBox and start from scratch, mounting the floppy drive again. Any help would be …

Ouch! You should keep your machine specs a little smaller, fellow. Anyway, have you tried booting into VGA mode? Use F8 at startup. This way it could help to isolate the problem.

It's been A LONG TIME since I played Ultima VIII: Pagan. IMHO, it was better than U IX: Ascension but worse than Ultimas VII. Anyway, I must have those floppies somewhere in my house. I will try find 'em and post back when I do some testing.
