I've used the Microsoft Application Compatibility Tool and the it still shows up as ghosts but more defined. Any other suggestion will be of great help.

Unfortunately abandonware is considered piracy and the forums do not support piracy what so ever. Unfortunately I looked on both Amazon and Ebay and found no dos copies for this game. Keep on checking those sites and you will find a copy soon.

You just answered your own question. You downloaded the game. Abandonware is NOT supported here. Go ask the site where you downloaded it from. A lot of abandonware is altered and messed up. That is why you should have the original media.

I did patch the game and I have the latest video drivers and the characters are barely perceivable.

I recently upgraded my video card and now my characters are practically invisible. I'm running a 2,6ghz Dual Core with 2G of ram and an ATI HD 6670 1GB video memory. I'm running XP SP3. Can someone offer me a solution on this? I really want play this game.

Actually the Playstation version is way different than the PC version. I used to have the Playstation version.

Do you even have the original CD? Or did you download this. The problem seems to be that you are mounting your HD as D. Your CD drive is either D, E or some other letter that is not C. The Correct example should be: Mount C C:\oldgames Mount D D:\ -t cdrom

In actuality the PSU I had put in there died in two weeks but because it was under warranty a different brand of PSU was to replace the one i had put in. I have to look inside my machine but it is probably not a Sentey like my last one was.

I know that double posting is a no-no but I'd just put in and installed my new graphics card. It may not be the best but it is better than my onboard graphics card by a long shot.

I'm not trying to play the newest games. I'd just to play the Elder Scroll games and others. Since my computer costs about a $100 used I will be satisfied with it.

Good news. I've changed my psu to a 600wt and I ordered on Amazon an ATI HD 6670. I wonder how good the ATI HD 6670 is?

Is there anyway you could get a legitimate copy? Any downloads that aren't considered freeware are considered pirated. These forums don't support abandonware.

Well, my intel onboard video card doesn't have hardware T&L so thats why I asked. Even a Radeon Xpress 200 had hardware T&L and the openGL was hardware, not software like my Intel(R) G33/G31.
