With regards to Multiple Processors and Gaming
running games on dual pentium III's or more I recommend windows xp or server 2003 provides basic SMP support for systems and adds that bonus to real smp games (if any compatable)

Mmm... yes, but:
a. the forum "Deep Thought" is intended for completed research articles, more or less, not for a community holding discussions on solutions that are a continued work in progress. Or at least that was the intent, back in the day.
b. how about we don't resurrect a thread that hasn't seen a new reply since 2005 (not your fault), and how about we make a new one instead, and if we must, link back to the old one - which I have now locked (for now): Multiple Processors and Gaming
