ok, do games based on DOS4GW (or other protected modes) work under Windows2000? I tried running Warcraft-I under these conditions without success. After VDMsound finished loading the game, the entire screen went black but quickly exited to desktop. Is there anything I can do?

Yes, games using DOS extenders work fine. There is a compilation of the various versions of DOS/4GW in Deep Thought, you might try swapping some of those versions for the one you've got to see if that doesn't get it running.

Guest #1: multam fain pentru... multumiri. Vezi raspunsul lui Snover - unele jocuri merg, altele nu prea. Warcraft parca mergea, mai putin mouse-ul care avea ceva probleme (de care te puteai scapa modificand un fisier de config de-al jocului).
