I'm trying to run Screamer 2. It runs but it tells me the CD-ROM is not in the drive. It is. When I run without VDMS it finds the CD but I don't have any sound.
in AUTOEXEC.VDMS i changed
rem lh %SystemRoot%\system32\mscdexnt.exe
to
lh %SystemRoot%\system32\mscdexnt.exe
this should enable CD-ROM support, right? or am I doing something wrong?

Upgrade VDMSound to latest version, even if it's a beta. It works properly and you don't need to be editting any .ini file. Just right-click on the .VLP shortcut and edit it's properties.

You could also replace mscdexnt with sapucdex (and make sure you've got a CD-ROM audio cable between your drive and sound board if your drive is set to analog playback).
I'm running VDMSound 2.0.4 is that the latest? as for sapucdex.exe do I need to edit autoexec.vdms to reference that instead?
I think there's a 2.1.0 beta.
