And the drivers for win95 are far worse than for 98-ME, because with win95 drivers I haved blurred screen, with newer drivers screen look better. That card isn`t good beacuse of that for Win95, but is good for 98-ME and even 2000/XP. Can you test and compare first GeForce and Radeon videocards like GeForce 2MX400 or GeForce 256, Radeon 7500?

I agree, the video is great, two thumbs up!

Though I feel the conclusion could've been better in terms of comparison with other alternatives. Yes, I know I'm nitpicking here 😊 You base the conclusion on the card itself, but you don't mention the alternatives beside on performance. If you compare it to a TNT2, the TNT2 has:

- Better drivers
- Better Direct3D support
- Better output quality in higher resolutions (for most of the cards, will vary on model and maker)
- Better performance
- Equal DOS compatibility

You do mention "look elsewhere for Windows gaming", and recommend it for DOS, which I fully agree with. But I think it could've been mentioned that you can have your cake and eat it too 😀

Yes I try to keep it to the card at hand, but I hear you and always take things on board 😀

Can you test that Savage4 in Gothic, even with demo of that game and compare it to Riva TNT2? I tried that game with Savage4 on PCI and ran better than on Riva TNT2 PRO on my K6-2 years ago and uses with Savage less RAM, and I haved very much problems to find driver which work with that Savage4 PCI videocard, every found driver i got BSOD`s, I remember only one driver ran normally from a few I tried.

Is the reverb/echo intentional?

Edit: I like that you have your formula down-pat. I haven't found my groove yet. 😒

Keep up the great work dude! 😀

Just the way that room is, not much I can do...

I'm not going to stick to a weekly schedule anymore, sometimes a project takes me just a bit longer and I don't want to have that time pressure. Other times it just takes me a day or two 😀

So basically, I'll publish stuff when it's done 😀

When I heard the echo, my first thought was you just moved in and don't have the place fully furnished yet. Empty rooms tend to have more echo. 😀

The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

Rooms with tiles and lots of glass or generally hard surfaces too.

Phil, you could treat the room acoustically, if it bothers you...

Anyway, awesome work, as always! 😀

Unreal S3 Savage4 MeTaL S3TC Gameplay

Looks impressive for 1998 technology.

The game skips every now and then / rubber-banding, but otherwise holds a stable frame rate of 30+ FPS.

The S3TC textures look nice, though not every texture got a facelift.

Is your A64 3200+ the one with 512k L2 or 1024k L2? Furthermore, have you got something like a Clawhammer A64 3500+ which you can use to compare single and dual channel RAM with at a similar clock rate?

The 3200+ is a ClawHammer.

The 3500+ is dual channel on S939. The 3200+ (or anything on S754) is not. That's why I think it'd be a cool comparison.
