Radeon™ Software Adrenalin 21.10.2 Highlights
Support For

Back 4 Blood™
The Riftbreaker™

Fixed Issues

Driver timeouts or black screens may be experienced while playing Assassin’s Creed® Origins on some AMD Graphics products such as Radeon™ RX 580 Graphics.
Some users may experience a game freeze when they attempt to launch Dota 2™ using OpenGL®.
Open Broadcaster Software™ may continue to run in the background after a user ends a recording session and closes the application.

Known Issues

Some users may experience elevated memory consumption by the Multimedia Athena Dumps folder.
In Radeon™ Software, the CPU Tuning feature may be missing for some users with AMD Processors such as Ryzen™ 9 5950X Processor.
AMD Radeon™ Software may crash or become unresponsive while playing some DirectX® 11 games such as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds™ with multiple displays connected in extended mode.
Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.
Radeon performance metrics and logging features may intermittently report extremely high and incorrect memory clock values.

AMD Link for Windows Known Issues

Intermittent grey frame corruption might be observed when streaming with HEVC on certain configurations via an Internet connection. A workaround is to use the AVC encoding setting instead.

Have fun!

Cool, earlier than expected. Unfortunately there isn't much to write home about in this release. I think it's funny that they decided to only support hardware-accelerated H.264 playback on their new, high-end cards, since most people will be using them in computers with CPUs that can do it just fine in software.

Agreed. I am getting an X850 GTO in a few days for replacing my aging 9600LE.

They usually release one once a month (that's what the number after the decimal means - the month number), but they did an extra one this year as a "Christmas present" to their customers.

Also, I've installed it and noticed no major differences, except that the texture shimmering I was seeing in World of Warcraft *might* be gone now.

WOW! ATi made a big jump in versions (from 5.13 to 6.1)

New year, new numbers, not really a big jump. The naming is YY.MM so 6.1 (and not 6.10) is the correct version number. Year 2006, month 1.

Is it so? So what does 5.13 mean? Month 13 - A weird year is that, ennit?

BTW: Corrected version numbers. No more 6.10

Somehow I already figured that out. I was just being a little sarcastic... 😁

Thanks. But for some odd reason that page only works for me when using Internet Explorer. 😠

I have installed Catalyst 7.5 on a friend's machine today and the Control Center doesn't come up when launched. I have uninstalled/installed it again but it didn't make any difference.

Heh. ATi changed the look for its driver page. Very cute.

WARNING!

Catalyst 7.9 driver broke D3D for me. Directdraw acceleration and OpenGL work just fine, but D3D isn't working (not dx7, nor dx8 nor dx9). I get a weird error in the dxdiag tests. Games using D3D aren't working either. 😠

I just downgraded to 7.8 and everything is back to normal.
