Hello everyone!
A looooong time ago I wrote a program to launch my DOS stuff. As I recently re-wrote the program to be more flexible, I now feel the time is right to share this with you. Hopefully to get some feedback to make it even better.
It has been written in Qbasic 4.5 with DOSBox in mind, so shortcuts for ipxnet is part of the latest release.
This release is for now "just" shareware and is limited to 25 titles, but the full version will support up to 855 titles. It has been tested with DOSBox SVN-Daum and DOSBox 0.74-2. Conventional memory usage is steady at 22k.
You can from the included .ini file customize the menu titles, colors, and ip/port no. for networking.
The same .ini file also contain all your program- and game titles to be listed.
Adding a title is simple (Well, atleast I think it's a simple approach):
<BEGIN>
Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn
cc.bat*
<END>
*The idea here is you have a folder with .bat files to launch your programs and games, set to PATH. Example: PATH=Z:\;C:\BATFILES\
Let me know what you think.
