I'm putting together a second 486 box to put in my study. Currently all my retro rigs are downstairs, where there is no aircon.
I have a UM8810PAIO PCI mobo, a 5x86-ADZ 133Mhz CPU, 16MB of FPM, and a Matrox Millennium II 4MB PCI card, and the OS will probably be Windows 95.
Would an Aureal Vortex PCI card work well in this rig? Other than that, I have a Vibra16S, an ES1868, and an SB Live. Would any of those be better?
Also, I notice that the BIOS info page says "PS/2 Mouse: Not Present". So it seems the chipset does support a PS/2 mouse. Is there a way to find out if any of the unused solder pads are meant to house a PS/2 mouse header?
