I picked up a free desk in my neighborhood this evening. Perfect for my 2nd 21". 😀

A Work in progress...the beginnings of my retro gaming room setup...slowly working on it. Moved in my Sony CRT from the garage and stacked my 286 Emerson system and Tandy 1000 SX TX, TL, and TL/2 in a stereo cabinet along with my Tandy 1000 EX, Amiga 2000HD, and three other pc's in desktop cases (still working on those builds), and of course all situated next to my shelves of big box pc games.

It's neat, it's tidy - very nice! What's with the towel over your CRT? Does your cat sleep up there? Them felines love CRT's.

Thanks...still have a lot to do to make it right but it's a start

🤣 as for the towel is concerned...I would like to have a cat one day....🤣... but no the towel is just to protect my crt from yellowing... the morning sun shines pretty bright on that spot all day so it's there temporarily to prevent yellowing because my setup is going to remain like that for a while until I can work on it more.

Still have a lot of work to do on it...rearranging, wiring, etc...have to hook up my audio system too and my kvm and video processing units to convert 15khz to regular svga.

My updated "computer" area setup (Aka my room). It's a panoramic shot so the quality is pretty crap. 😒

Lol Yeah the walls are left open right now because our house was a summer home with absolutely zero insulation at all, it's a wip.

My 3 systems.

To the left is main desktop with FX 6300 and GTX 660, middle AXP 2800, and far right is P4 3.2

Here's my decade-impaired setup. On the left is a circa 2001 ThinkPad T21 with a 1ghz Pentium III (originally had an 800mhz part), 256mb memory, 20gb hard drive, WinXP Home with registry hack to allow for POSReady 2009 updates. To the right is my daily driver: a circa 2007 ThinkPad R60 with a 2ghz Core 2 Duo T7200 (originally 1.66ghz T5500), 2gb memory, 250gb hard drive, Win7 Ultimate 32-bit. Both have 14.1" 1024x768 LCDs. The R60 runs like a charm and I enjoy using it. The T21, in it's advanced age, has been assigned to be a window for IRC, IM and e-mail while I'm using my "good" laptop for other things.

Here is a picture of my work are, I really hope to one day get a nice , corner desk, also need a good KVM 🤣

Love those Coolermaster cases.

A more recent shot of my "Man Cave" I rotate out the 486 and 286, and need a new screen for the Compaq Portable 486 not in the shot.
