Your room is look great King_C! I'm in the process of building a new man cave and would love to do a whole theme for it like that, but time / cost considerations will mean that it's just another white plastered room sadly.

Thanks! Yeah this was a very long term thing 🤣 but I've been slowly trying to piece together a believable 90's room. I had a small CRT TV on the other side of the room for a while with an Digital to analog converter and a VHS player hooked up so I could watch TV or movies in here too at one point. 🤣

Right now I've been cleaning so excuse the mess but I just wanted to also show off my Kenwood radio from '95 and the cabinet underneath that (which is where my modern computer hides!) and also my CD tower I got really lucky with and found in a thrift shop. 🤣

I love the cabinet. Back in 96/97, a friend of mine had a similar cabinet and the same speakers on his Pentium 166.

Thanks! Yeah the cabinet was a pretty sweet find, and your friend has good taste in computer speakers cause man, these are some of the nicest I've ever come across they have SUPER rich sound.

It's a Kenwood! 🤣 Properly 90's also had to hunt it all down and figure out when it was from. Best guess is 1995.

Me likes the Kenwood! I have a similar setup here - a Sharp all-in-one system with tape, record player, etc. Certainly not an audiophile system but I love it. I need to get a CD holder too; mine are all just stacked next to the unit so getting one off the bottom is a royal pain in the bum.

Ah, I see it now! Pro Logic? I'm hoping there's two tower speakers elsewhere in the room!

Just finished cleaning up. Note the stack of floppy drives under the left speaker 🤣 (and a few HDDs as well)

Disks don't play well with magnets.

And speakers have big magnets in them. But some are shielded for use with computers.

Well, there's nothing of value on these drives anyways, so I wouldn't really care about it.
