I'm sure many of you have seen the oddball T1000 LGR posted a video about, branded as an 'Avon beauty computer' complete with printer and color scanner in a giant red case (If not go check it out, tis a silly thing).
Here's a more subdued and interesting find. A Toshiba J-3100SS002. The Japanese native counterpart to the T1000 series. More specifically the T1000SE.
This one is branded for the TKC corporation, which is of all things, an accounting conglomerate.
80c86, 640k ram, 896k for ramdisk and floppy drive. Dos is in ROM, along with a precursor to the DOS/V input standard, ATOK.
Screen is a beautiful sea green, CGA monochrome lcd with electroluminescent backlight!
Sadly its currently blinking the power led, which seems pretty common for this era Toshiba laptop. So once it gets some TLC, I'll show it up and running.
