At work we have a storage/working room, most of computers and other hardware are old and ready for recycling. Of course, I had opened every single PC and grab what can be used 😀

but where do you sit? ^^
Just moved and got my office all set up:
Work from home and modern workstation on the right and retro setups on the left
CRT and keyboard and mouse setup for my retro rigs
Left Top is 486 100mhz
Top Right SS7 K6-3+ Voodoo3
Middle Horizontal is K6-2+ build need to do some more work on
Bottom is my Socket 5 200mmx Overdrive DOS and WIndows95 Machine
P3 1.4 Tualitan build with 4200ti and WIndows98
Modern Rig Razerblade Stealth 2020 3060ti in EGPU Enclosure with 29inch 2560x1080 LG Monitor
So far working out ok I can research and download files on my modern system and then swivel 180 and fiddle with my retrobuilds. I have a VGA switcher on the CRT setup that is also connected to a HDMI to VGA adapter that I hook up my C64 Maxi to and play around with learning 8bit computing. Right now I am working on restoring an old Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop I have had since college that has been through a dozen moves.

That's what I call a computer tower!
I have that exact keyboard tray. I rather like it.

It does look quite nice. Do you know if it's still produced?
Well it's more like hobby area.
I guess if one is into retro gear then hobby electronics knowledge can only be beneficial.
Extra points for those who can spot relevant message 😀

Yea! You can snag it at Amazon here is the link:

I had first opted for an under the tabletop keyboard tray but the model m was too thick and wouldn't fit so I got this instead. My other desk/bench at my old place was much deeper but had to make some compromises with the new office. It is solid and really nice I like it

I hear the muffled cries with 3Dfx tears from that poor card stuck in the plastic bin. I mean really man, have you even fed it lately? It's starving. 😉
I should have been more sensitive indeed. Should have blurred it off 😉
Unfortunately that card is completely busted with some main chips legs cleanly broken off. I'm keeping it for spare parts.

Ha! Well, we can't save them all. At least it's an organ donor.
I've split my computing area.
a) my (home)office with my working PCs and a place for the current favourite of my retro machines (at the moment my "Freespace Battle Station", on the right).
b) my "storage space" in the cellar were my retro machines hibernate and where the Workbench is (for fixing and maintenance).
Building my own PCs since 1991 - for my retro builds it's "no CF-disks, no Floppy emulators, no modern cases etc.", only the real and authentic stuff whenever possible.
Even your storage b) is way more orderly than my clean home office space a).

Ohh, I am no saint - due to corona, we finially managed to tidy up the cellar (hooray!)
and intentionally I didn't shoot any pic of the workbench 😉

Good day! New to the forum and thought I would start off by showing my computing area. I have two monitors and the TV connect to my main W10 machine and then the BenQ is connected to my Win XP PC's.
You have a really nice setup! And boy seeing those Athlon XP boxes takes me back to middle school. It's been a long time since I've seen one of those boxes.

Thanks! I do have more old CPU boxes, they are just hidden. I think I do still have an AMD Duron retail package as well. Those are hard to find.
That's sweet I love old hardware boxes. Yeah those Duron boxes don't show up much at all.
