Well, I mean sure, I am aware of slot coolers and have one myself to cool Voodoo3 in my Kayak. However the ones I have seen so far are some black ones shorter than yours and using one slot compared to yours two.

What is your cooler model name, are you aware if it is available somewhere, who was the seller, etc?

Not the same as the OPs but I have one of these giving airflow to a Voodoo Banshee. The colours are a bit out there but functionally it works well.

Great! I love those K6-II/III/2+/3+ builds. My first SS7 board was an AX59 Pro. Currently have a dead one in storage...

Nice configuration! Especially with external midi modules. Also, I like it when the retro configuration is in a well-ventilated modern house.

Looking at this I am rather sure there is my ex-case, mailed to you last summer in not one but two XL-sized boxes?

Time for some DEC goodness again 😁

Only very recent I was able to acquire a long awaited system for my collection. This is one of the systems I worked with in the early days of my career as a system administrator. It is also one of the last systems I wanted to add to my collection of (x86) systems I worked professionally with in the past. I'd better not start collecting IBM RS/6000's (again 🤪).

The seller was one of the kindest sellers one can wish for. He really helped me out adding this to my collection and he thought of everything getting it in the most original state as possible. If you read this you know who you are and a BIG thanks!

Now then, to the system! This is a Digital Prioris LX 5150. Later on I want to make more in-depth review of it, but here are some quick specs and photos.

Cpu: Pentium 150MHz
Ram: 32MB (2*16)
OS: Win95 OSR2 (will be replaced with Novell Netware 3.12)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda st32550n (as noisy as those can be), scsi

Also I'd like to give you a quick peek at this one:

Digital Multia

Some quick specs:
CPU: Pentium 133MHz (came original with a P100 iirc)
RAM: 16MB (2*8)
HDD: 1GB solid state drive (compact flash?)
SCSI controller: NCR C810 (not in use)
FDD: 1.44MB (laptop style)
Video: S3 Vision 968 PCI (on-board)
Audio: Ad Lib Gold compatible OPL3
Network: DEC 21040

For such a small form factor it is quite well equipped and it makes a nice DOS retro gaming station. Don't expect to much upgrading possibilities. Though the case has space for e.g. an expansion card, there is no riser where to connect it to.

This particular machine works very well. Only issue it has is the connection between the power switch of the housing and the switch on the PSU itself. The glue which hold these two together is degraded and just fell off. Have to repair that. Besides that it is a little dirty. I didn't plan to make a post about it on Vogons but came around it while searching for some other computer parts in the attic. I don't know if these ones are rare or not. For some years I saw never one for sale, but the last year I spotted at least 5 pieces of various sellers.

Now then, time for some visuals!
