Good evening,

Just another new member making his first post. =) First a bit of background;

I am a Gen-Y so please forgive me if I cannot appreciate any hardware older than 386 (it's beyond the scope of my interest). Machine building has always been a passion of mine, and these days I am able to take the time to really turn into an art form of my own. So I figured I'd join here and share in my interest with others.

I greatly enjoy assembling hardware of personal significance to me from 486 to present. And the software that goes with it.
Period correct builds are always my favourite & have taken great pains to ensure its the case. So if anyone cares to share their knowledge (or criticism) in relation to that please feel free to do so =)

But enough fluff about me, onto the fleet;

(I change my main use rig often so ill just list)

I do have several others in the construction phase, such as my PII which wouldn't run my voodoo2 cards in SLI due to me not getting the EXACT revisions 😢

The only thing Im desperately trying to come across is a 486 board. My very first build was a 486 & I sorely miss them.

So many combinations to make, so few cases to put them in.

So let me guess -- you're an ATI/AMD fan? 🤣

We need some pics of the fleet...feed us some delicious eye candy!

More of an AMD fan than the graphics division 😎 I do love all of ATIs products though, especially the Rage series. But 3dfx is my all time favourite for video hardware. I also dabble in Cyrix, currently building an MII system which I can't wait to finish. Id also love a Rise or IDT system, but first things first.

Sorry about the lack of eye candy, Ive been a bit lazy in the photo taking lately. But here's a little snapshot of my P55 system;

I'll probably take more today, once the dungeon is a bit more organised 🤣

Hmn.....The BIOS chip kind of seems new to me....is it a PCChips board?I remember those had BIOS chips like the one in your picture.

It's actually a Gigabyte GA-TX3. With a faulty DIN connector. So im using USB for everything. I was forced to use Win98SE for it, because of Win95's lack of full USB support.
