The CRT I've currently got out is a Panasonic PanaSync E70i model TX-T7F22-G manufactured in January 2000. The main reason a pair of these survived the CRT purge about 10 years back is they support sync on green which makes them compatible with the various UNIX workstations I've got. I don't have any UNIX machines setup these days so for now its doing a good job on my 486:

I then got this one for the princely sum of £1. It turns out it's got a problem with the menu though, where it randomly pops on the screen. I wired in a latching switch to the exit button to stop it from coming up, but clearly, a more substantial repair is needed...

Hello, I only noticed this now. I wonder if you could upload hi-resolution pictures of the TE555, front and rear? Do you have the manual and the swivel base?

My Sony PVM-9L1 and PVM-1341.

I need to make minor adjustments to the 1341's geometry since it's a bit angled, however, it's sharp and it looks good for a PVM that's a month older than I am.

ICCM type 1400-30LR from Feb 1991. It's quite yellow, but otherwise pretty cool and I got it for free.

I wonder if this is based on a Philips 107S - its shape looks quite similar

many beige things were rebadged or borrowed styling like dvd drives i remember so its very possible 😀
it has a great burn free bright screen ideal for photoshop a rare digital menu for me not at all common here.

After a long looong time looking for one, finally got my Sony crt. The E100.

It's a very long shot, but I've always wondered in this picture what my late father's CRT model would be. Is there a CRT master somewhere around here that could maybe shed some light into this, perhaps with the two inscriptions left and right below the screen can provide a clue as to its brand at least?

Edit: I'm leaning towards an NEC Multisync, but the model just eludes me. As if I didn't adore NEC CRT monitors and TV's already, that would be lovely

Its NOT a CRT but an LCD Display.
But it Looks just like a CRT from the Front.
Its Amazing how Compared to my Black Dell LCD Display this Beige frame Viewsonic LCD brightness up my room and makes me feel good.
Its just more 1990’s looking.

My Daewoo Crystal 15XQ from 1993. It's not a good monitor, but it was free 😁
Unfortunatelly it has some defects - blurry and can't set geometry properly. Also it's too bright I think.
Works best with DP<->VGA adapter (HDMI<->VGA is good too) and not usable connected directly to VGA in old PC.
Was thinking about repairing it (maybe it's only a matter of faulty capacitors), but would be best to find something better.

The one I bought was in another state since there were no local ones I knew of.
Shipping monitors can be tricky and expensive but there are people who know how to to it.

The price was decent , and I knew the seller from before , since they shipped me two other crts a while back that also survived ,
though with tiny hairline cracks on the plastic but like other than that 95% fine. So it made sense to go with the reputable seller.
They packed it with high density matress foam and also put the monitor in bubble wrap , it survived 100% no cosmetic damage or anything

I have never seen a monitor with a segmented LED display. What is it displaying?

I think that’s channel and mode. The original picture is a bit blurry and once it arrives, I’ll post an update.

Hello! I have just discovered this website, and this thread. I have seen some replies that have been here since 2014, wow! I have a quite a few CRTs, and I decided to start with my 1991 Sport!

I found this little thing in grandfathers garage. I think it has been sitting for 10+ years. I remeber playing around with it when I was a child, and it even turned on and detected channels with its antenna (which is now long gone). It was in the same spot in the garage back then too.

So, I spend months convincing my parents to let me get it, and I did. Sadly, its power cord was cut.
It did have DC input, and I could use a power brick with it, but my parents were unsure of its condition, thinking it might short circuit.

I manage to find a guy who has been fixing tech for decades, and he fixed it up for me though. It's still kicking, seemingly with no issues.
