As you may heave seen, the current PSU is a Zalamn ZM460-APS 460 Watt (it realy is silent!)

I didn't notice.I was looking at the first 2 pics and I saw that the PSU was a Delta.

That's right! 😊

I bought a voodoo 5 5500, unfortunately one fan does not run. How can I make it work again?

It spins up but stops after a few minutes.. 😠

If I were you, I would buy a replacement fan. They are dirt cheap these days, just find a chinese one on ebay with the exact same size. If you have some longer screws, you could even get a high-profile fan for better airflow.

However, you could lubricate the bearing with some household oil and a syringe. It is accessible trough the back of the fan. Remove the sticker and the rubber cover (if there is one). I used this method before, yet I moved the fans to "expendable" colomn, as it never worked for too long.

I have been busy! Both fans are working but one makes an annoying noise..

Very nice looking rig. Congratulations. It should serve you well 😀
Wouldn't mind a Voodoo 5 myself, but I don't know which system I'd put it in, as I don't really wanna replace my Parhelia. Yes, I have a soft spot for Matrox products.
I do have a soft spot for 3dfx as well though... Ahh, those were the days. Hardware always felt more interesting back then, when it was more than just AMD and nVidia competing for the crown and glory.

WinXP : PIII 1.4GHz, 512MB RAM, 73GB SCSI HDD, Matrox Parhelia, SB Audigy 2.
Win98se : K6-3+ 500MHz, 256MB RAM, 80GB HDD, Matrox Millennium G400 MAX, Voodoo 2, SW1000XG.
DOS6.22 : Intel DX4, 64MB RAM, 1.6GB HDD, Diamond Stealth64 DRAM, GUS 1MB, SB16.

I have a quite similar machine to yours, just wondering what drivers you are using for the Voodoo 5 with best results? I'm using Amigasport 3.11 and they seem pretty good, but fonts go weird in Unreal with Anti-aliasing turned on.
Heres my machine :New coppermine build starts tomorrow

Anyhow, that is a great build, really nice looking machine. Also cheers for the great wallpapers, using them right now, look great 😀

I have Katmai 500 with better RAM performance than 1GHz Coppermine, you dont want to see my P3 500 133 FSB on P3B-F (i am running 120 now for safe, 140 capable-not stable) with Hynix PC133 SDR overclock the Katmai L2 is larger but slower, but i am sure that Coppermine 800 with VIA Apollo Pro not catch on BX440. I tried it! ATi Rage 128Pro Ultra & my V2 SLi (also tried Voodoo3 2000 = slower!)in NFS5 and Q3 Arena outperform your cards 1024x768 16Bit in FPS at all.. 😜

It play's Quake 3 Arena on 1280x1024 32bit all max with a nice 45-50 FPS 😎

You're welcome with the wallpaper, some more which fits with a Voodoo 5 😀

I really like your 3dfx wallpapers. I'm using the lighter blue one on my K6-III system with Voodoo 2 in it.
Thank you so much for making them 😀

Would you might if I made a "split down the middle" wallpaper with the right half being your 3dfx wallpaper, and the other half being some kind of Matrox logo? (I'm using G400MAX + Voodoo 2 in my system).

WinXP : PIII 1.4GHz, 512MB RAM, 73GB SCSI HDD, Matrox Parhelia, SB Audigy 2.
Win98se : K6-3+ 500MHz, 256MB RAM, 80GB HDD, Matrox Millennium G400 MAX, Voodoo 2, SW1000XG.

this build is very very similar to the one I just recently built , only difference is Im using a 1Ghz Athlon , on a Gigabyte board (which has a useful ISA slot to boot). Its a beast of a system.

Oh oh, you should make some vinyl stick-ons for that nice case, like here:
10357610_313787942133390_4274031096453011467_n.jpg
10513499_313787925466725_7686675853259646278_n.jpg

They're about $20 to get made, but totally worth it in my opinion.

Oh I just replace the stock fans with much better vantec ICEBERQs that use pop-pins, so you don't have to glue heatsinks on:

I can write up a quick explanation on how to do that if you're interested.
