I built one of these boxes a few years ago, using the motherboard from a HP tc-3100 server. But I use it as a headless movie server not a gaming machine so onboard graphics only. Very stable with Windows 2003. I don't think I've ever had a lockup or a crash. 4 GB RAM and 8x2TB hard drives on a RocketRaid 1820A. The other PCI-X slot has a gigabit network card.
