Decided to show off my computer in a separate thread.
It's mostly used for Aureal A3D-supported titles (Unreal, Half-Life...), but it can run HL2 and even DOOM3 (just for fun).

ASUS/Fong Kai FK603 case (old photo -- taken back when it had GA-6VTXE motherboard)

Surprisingly, XP Olive theme looks great with this wallpaper: https://web.archive.org/web/20140220095645/ht … by.com/gs/?p=81

you dual booting 98 and xp?

Not really -- each OS is installed on separate HDD, and WinXP is mostly used for maintenance of Win98 disk.
Disk 1: Win98 OS, Win98 Software
Disk 2: WinXP, Win98 Backups, CD image backups (for D-Tools in Win98)
I switch boot device in BIOS when needed.

You’ve got a very nice setup there…

If you ever get bored of switching the boot device in BIOS you can always setup multi-booting retro style using LiLo with a distro from back in the day.

Thanks!
I will definitely look into it when needed.

Meanwhile, found overclocking mode I'll stick with for now:
150 FSB (was 133 or more -- allowed up to 1133@1402), 150 DRAM (was 100)
Timings set to 3-3-3-7. Other possible modes such as 3-3-3-5, 2-2-2-7 and 2-2-2-5 (best) only work on 100 MHz, but CL3 mode on current frequency outperforms them all significantly. Memory performance results in AIDA are even comparable to some DDR and RAMBUS builds (lower part of the list, but it doesn't matter).
