2001 Upgrades:

1) NEW thermal paste. The old stuff was all dried up.
2) NEW Hard drive. Old one died. The NEW one is a Hitachi Deskstar 60gb.
3) NEW Sony DVD. Old one stopped working.

Curious as to how those Gateway cases are to build in? For some reason I like the looks of them.

You are better off building in a standard mid tower ATX case like the “InWIN A500” .
This Gateway case is heavy and clumsy. It will accommodate a standard ATX motherboard however.
Not sure about Power supply replacement.
And I am not sure about the motherboard stand-off mount holes as i have never removed the motherboard.

Time to bring out the Gateway Holiday computer again.

Upgrades for 2022:
1 ) add a rear case fan.

These computers are Heavy. Built like tanks.
