No it wont slow down your system. It for use on 286 class systems only.

You''ll not I'm not running smartdrv.sys either. That is because Zineth did some extra hardware magic on the 286LP Plus with regards to hdd access and it is not needed at all.

There's a glitch in the matrix.
A founding member of the 286 appreciation society.
Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.
Of course, as always, I'm open to correction...😉

A bit different but i remember you´ve got a picture with the pinout of a similar connector from a 386 model @Dosreloaded.de - could you post it here just in case there´s another member with the same problem? 😀
