Recently I was lucky enough to become the proud owner of a rare piece of vintage hardware.
An unmodified/untouched Acer Aspire P166LR.

I did a bit of research but returned very limited results, so I decided to share my system specs with the vogon community
in case anyone comes across another one or wants to use this one as reference since all pieces are factory-installed with no upgrades whatsoever.

Drivers are not an issue since it shares similar components with the IBM Aptiva 2153 E2N-E2F

My future upgrades include maxing out the ram (80mb EDO max) and 1mb of added vram for the onboard Ati Rage (IC NN514265AJ-60)

Thanks, and thank you as well for sharing that snapshot which certainly adds to the nostalgia.

In addition, this is the recovery CD that I used to restore everything to OEM specs if anyone is interested...
