Hi there,

Today I was given a Tanix TX85 minipc that has an Atom x5-Z8350 SOC (Intel Graphics HD 400, which is supposed to work fine with DOS).
But sadly, it has an American Megatrends BIOS with date 2019, which has no CSM mode boot.

So, what's with these DOS-compatible SOCs on machines with no CSM boot options on the BIOS?
Can they be reflashed with a CSM-compatible BIOS or something like that?

Thanks!

I have found out that there's something called SEABIOS, that can theorically be added to UEFI firmware as CSM support:

...but apparently not as an standalone .efi module to extend flashed UEFI...
