Hi, just tried the February Dosbox build, and since the last (january) build I feel I'm getting strange sound.

This is Monkey Island intro with the older (December) version:

This is the same with the latest version:
http://www.cg.tuwien.ac.at/~wimmer/monkey/new.mp3

The only difference between the two directories it was run from is dosbox.exe and waveforms.raw. In addition to the contents of the zip, I copied SDL.dll and SDL_net.dll there. The newer versions also create mt32out.raw and mt32out2.raw, sized 513KB each, by themselves.

I mean it could be my hearing and the newer version is actually better, but I find the instruments sound weird.

Opinions?

Its like a big rubix cube. I fix one side and I break another. The bass is back but now other instruments sound weird. I'm still working on it. 😉

My maximum at the rubix cube was 3 sides I think 😀

So that's how it's supposed to sound with the newest build and not something weird with my setup? Because some other guy reported that he almost can't hear the difference to the original with this build on Monkey Island, and that would surprise me...
