😢

I downloaded the dosboxbin with mt-32 support.

I added that ROM file to the directory.

When playing a dos game, I set it up first for MT-32 sound.

I tried Kyrandia : No sound (I have sound if I set it up with sound-blaster).

Space Quest 3 : I get one note that repeats forever.

What am I supposed to do ?

THANKS

When you run Dosbox does a second window open up in addition to the main Dosbox window? Have you tried to disable digital, adlib, etc sound in Dosbox first, your setup may have problems playing multiple digital streams at once.

Yes, 2 windows open...on the first, here's what I get :

And then there's the second window that opens with the "dos prompt". Can you see anything there ?

How do I disable the adlib and other stuff like you said ?

The stuff in the second window is all correct (it is the debugging messages for the MT-32 emulator itself). When a game uses the MT-32 more messages should appear.

To disable the other stuff like adlib you need to toggle the appropriate setting in the dosbox.conf file (I don't know where this file is stored in the Windows version). Switching off the other stuff is a bit of a long shot but I don't know what else it could be.
