I am trying to get DOSBox .63 to run in windows 2000 to run qbasic so that it can access the game/parallel port. DOSBox should work, but it just flat out won't start. The windows closes really quickly and it says something along the lines of: exit to error: can't init SDL...::Create Device::Device not registered.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Everything runs fine on XP, this has me stumped.

I dont think we honour parallel port accesses yet.
That is to say Printer Redirection can occur to a file, but Dosbox doesnt
transmit/recieve to the real hardware (yet).
