I just recently installed DOSBox on 2 workstations. On the first workstation IPXNET.COM is on the Z: drive, on the second it isn't.

Copying the file to my mounted C: was easy enough.

Unfortunately, when I try to run ipxnet connect <ip of host> it CTDs.

Any ideas?

Same version. Also, in case you haven't re-read my OP, running it from the mounted c drive crashes the dosbox window.

🤣?

1. You have z:\ in the path variable, so it will work even from drive c.
2. set ipx=true in dosbox.conf to see the file.

If it's not on the z:\ drive then you can't just copy around the .com file
from another dosbox installation.

Assure that the ipx setting is enabled in the dosbox.conf that is actually
used (watch the dosbox console window).

For some weird reason, even though it was set to false, ipxnet.com was showing up on my PC.

I set it to true on both PCs, working now.

Thanks

EDIT: now in the process of killing my wife with pipebombs, thanks guys!
